Summer 2006 Camps

Art Horse Camp
June 5-9 (1 week), 9 AM to 5 PM
$600, supplies included

This camp is perfect for the horse lover in your family who also has an artistic flair. The first part of the day will be spent focusing on horsemanship, while the second part of the day will be spent with Nancy Hoover, art teacher extraordinaire. Nancy will teach the fundamentals of horse anatomy through painting. The week will culminate in an art show exhibiting the work each child has completed, as well as a mounted horse show.

Beginner Camp
June 19-30 (2 weeks), 9 AM to 5 PM
$600

• Horsemanship activities
• Unmounted balance exercises
• Private lunge lessons daily
• Arts and crafts
• Costume construction for quadrille performance at the end of the week

Intermediate Camp
July 10-21 (2 weeks), 9 AM to 5 PM
$600 (+ $20*)

• Horsemanship activities
• Unmounted equitation exercises
• Arts and crafts
• Gymkhana on 1st Friday
• Quadrille on 2nd Friday
• 1 private lesson each week
• Group lessons daily

*Assessment ride mandatory ($20); must schedule before camp enrollment.
